The Christian holy book declares "to everything there's a season and time to every purpose under the sun," a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to harvest...,(Eccl.3:1-8, KJV). This is true for everyone born of a woman, for that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts.

Pastor Temitope Balogun Joshua, popularly known as Prophet TB Joshua was born on June 12 1963 in Ondo state, Nigeria.

He became popular through his televangelism ministrations, which were renowned for miracles of healing, deliverance, prophetic declarations, and exorcism( casting out of evil spirits). He was known all over the world.

Prophet TB Joshua founded the Synagogue Church of All Nation(SCOAN) in 1987

Death is a necessary end for every man, it is a debt owed by the living and it will come when it will come, we can't run away from it, we can't wish it away, and we can't pray it away. History is replete with stories of great men and women of notes who traveled the shores of life and were founders of great organizations, both secular and religious----Jesus Christ, Prophet Muhammad, Siddhartha Gautama, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King Jr., Nelson Mandela, and others. They all drank "the cup of death.

From calculations, Jesus Christ lived only thirty-three and a half years before his death. when he came face to face with death he prayed thus: "O my father if it is possible let this cup pass away from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt"(Matt.26:39, KJV), he submitted to the will of nature God, and drank " the cup of death" so also did great men and women of notes before and after Christ, so also did Archbishop Benson Idahosa, Adolf Hitler, Alexander the Great and others.

The turn of Prophet TB Joshua to drink of "the cup of death" came at his 57th year, on June 6th, 2021 six days to his 58th birthday. Early exit some may say but for those who benefited immensely from the prophet TB Joshua's life and time, it was a life well spent. A good name is better than longevity of life without good deeds. Some people are opportune to live longer but with a negative impact on the course of humanity--- stealing, maiming, killing, kidnapping, cheating, and causing destructions of lives and properties, etc.

Prophet TB Joshua may not have lived longer but just like Jesus Christ, Prophet Muhammad, and others he impacted positively In a great way to his followers, the underprivileged, widows, orphans, and the destitute in different part of the globe through his philanthropic gestures and charitable donations to orphanage homes, victims of natural disasters, correctional homes, and health centers. Prophet TB Joshua would have chosen to amass much more wealth with properties here and there in choice places all over the world as it is the norm with so many secular and religious leaders of today who defrauds and psychologically hypnotize their subjects and followers, taken from them the little they have to enrich themselves and their family, buying private jets, building skyscrapers, and stocking billion in different hard currencies----- Dollars, Euros, Perns Sterling, Naira, etc for their "unborn children." Some keep their wealth all to themself as if the day they'll drink of "the cup death" everything they've acquired in life will go to the grave with them. The obvious truth is that; we were born naked and will certainly depart naked.

Before we drink "the cup of death" the big question to ask ourselves is what will I be remembered for? What legacy am I leaving behind? For a songwriter we can only be remembered by what we have done, ..." thus we'll pass from the earth and it's toiling, only remembered by what we've done.

"The power of love which moves us to assist humankind is far greater than the power of money," but when money, compassion, skill, or talent are built on the foundation of that love then not only is our life enriched beyond our comprehension, we can have such an influence in the world.

Let's use what we have--- talents, money, compassion, and gifts just like the faithful departed, Prophet TB Joshua to make the world a better place.

We can only be remembered by what we give not what we get, or how long we lived.
